About
Hourbooks is a product of Hour Glass Solutions (Pty) Ltd, a South African IT solutions company. We built it to run our own quoting, invoicing and reconciliation — then opened it up because every small business we work with had the same problem.
An IT solutions company offering internet solutions, email management, website development, digital marketing, IT support and software licensing to South African businesses. Hourbooks grew out of that work — the same back-office problem kept showing up across our own operations and our clients'.
Most small businesses either run their paperwork off Word and spreadsheets, or pay for a full accounting suite built for a bookkeeper to operate. Hourbooks sits in between: enough structure to trust it, none of the overhead to get in your way.
